Tutorials How To Manual MIDI and Audio
VST effects are industry-standard software plugins that QuickScore can use to process audio from audio files, VST instruments, audio inputs or ReWire inputs. QuickScore can use any plugin you've installed in the standard system VST directory or QuickScore's own VST directory. Access them from QuickScore's Audio Mixer.
The Audio Mixer provides a flexible audio path for each audio input pair, VSTi instrument, audio track, ReWire input pair and the master output. Each audio path appears as an audio strip in the Audio Mixer window. You can adjust gain and pan settings and add up to 4 insert effects and 4 send effects on each strip. All audio strips may have up to 8 channels and can accept plugins with up to 8 inputs and outputs. Every channel on each audio strip can be assigned to the output channel you want.
In any active strip in the Audio Mixer, any installed VST effect is available to be used as an insert effect or a send effect. To use an effect as an insert effect, click on the box below the INSERTS text and choose the effect from the drop-down list box. To use an effect as a send effect, click on the box below the SENDS text and choose the effect from the drop-down list box.
Click on EDIT to edit the effect.
